Usually Avrie prefers alone play, but today anna was the one who wanted to play alone. Avrie kept following her around the sand and when Avrie would get to close anna would pick up and move somewhere else. It was weird. Those girls!
I love watching Avrie explore the world around her. She looks at everything like she's seen it the first time. She's been to Woodhaven park plenty of times, but she just looks at everything with such awe it's as if she's seeing it for the first time. I love it.
Avrie tried to ride all the trucks. She's small enough she could! There are only a few anna can ride anymore. But anna found this big line up of dump trucks and played there for a while.
After the park I ran back to the library where we enjoyed another TT (toddler time). Anna got mauled in the mosh pit around teresa while trying to get a toy. Poor girl.
After lunch, naps, chalk, barney and cleaning windows, we went to Murdock park with all the friends ( but no Zachie!) to swing.
We did the spider swinging trick. The girls loved it!
Oh yes, Julia was with us all day - but you'd hardly know it. She's such a good baby. Here she is awake for a little bit. speaking of which, I need to go feed her!
Oh yeah before I go to bed - Briella was offering all the girls handfuls of bark ships - its her way of buying friends. Isn't she such a beautiful girl? I can't wait to see more of her personality come out as she gets older. Look at anna in the background just chilln.
Here she is coming up to ask me to help her get up to the slide. My thoughts are in line with Emily's: "when are you going to be more independent at the park?!" Hopefully before summer is in full swing! Another good day in Sunny Sherwood! (didn't think i'd ever put those two words together)

What a good mom you are to spend all day at the park! One day, (hopefully soon!) they will need less help/intervention. This afternoon, even though it was so sunny I racked my brain trying to think of what we could do instead of going to the park because I was just too darn lazy to chase her around. Am I a slacker or what? We ended up at the Y pool because I figured if I was moving around at least I'd be sort of weightless!
THANK YOU for taking Avrie so I could get my license AND THANK YOU for watching her again while I went to rehearsals this week. SERIOUSLY you guys rock.
thanks again :)
