She Decided!!! 'Hallelujah!!

So after over a year of Nicole looking at cars studying what 2, 3, 4, or 5 stars meant, reading the JD power associates and consumer reports, test driving hyundai's, Nissan cube http://www.nissanusa.com/cube/ (I said no to that one), Ford fusion, kia's; Nicole threw a curve ball and decided to buy a Toyota Corolla last night. She found a good deal and bought it after only 24 hours (sometimes it takes Nicole longer than 24 hours to buy a pair of pantyhose).

Here is Nicole on her way to work this morning in her new car.

and yes we know have two black Toyota vehicles. I still like mine better.
Luv you Nicole

Joy's long lost Brother

My brother, dad, and I used to tell my sister that she was adopted because she had red hair. Well we found your long lost brother Joy. Maybe you could get some hair tips. He also kind of looks like Nicole but at any rate he sure looks like a girl.

For those not watching the Olympics (I mean Nicole's family) this is Shaun White Olympic snowboard champion.

You are what you eat - and so is baby! Hooray for cookies and cinnamon toast creating a girl baby! Next pregnancy, bring on the Escargo

Im so excited to buy this:

Names? I like Anna middle name Belle. It means easy to love or favored grace depending on the website. That's what we need, someone easy to love (: It may also remind you of a poem about a dead lady written by E.A. Poe which reminds me of my 10th grade english teacher Mrs. Coe:

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love -
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulcher
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me
Yes! that was the reason
(as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we
Of many far wiser than we
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,
In the sepulcher there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea

you know you are an adult when

All of the commercials on TV appeal to you.

We are currently in the market for carpet, a car, a bed, a mattress - well that's mostly it. For the past 24 years of my TV watching life I thought..........why do they have such lame things on commercials - do people actually buy new cars and carpet (my parents never have) - only now that I have a money sucking pit (house) do I understand.

sad.

I knew I had a good reason

Even after living here almost two years I still follow the Jazz, BYU, and Utah State more than any sports here and probably the Utah news more than the local news. But Nicole always asks me why don't I just become a Portland Trailblazers fan since we live here. Well I say because I can't switch alliances, I have always been a Utah Jazz fan, Denver Broncos, BYU, Yankees, and since I went to USU a fan of them also, and a true fan doesn't switch teams.

Tonight on the way home from the gym the Trailblazers announcer was talking about how the Jazz beat the Trailblazers last night and he said. " I have a lot of friends from Utah and they like to go back to Utah quite often, but I don't really know why because I hate the trip to Utah, I hate the Jazz, the city, the State, and the people."

So I can't root for the Trailblazers if the announcer hates me.
