The red rug reminds me of a warm and good smelling kitchen. A kitchen with magical goodies that you can eat and eat and eat and never gain weight and never feel yucky. A kitchen that always smells good even if it's dirty, or you burned dinner. Maybe that's a good feeling to have in you're front room. However Bryan says I have the taste of an 80 year old gramma sometimes so if you think it looks like a gramma I may not be the best person to ask. I like it though... Loves
Man that rug is ugly. It reminds me of an old Indian blanket that someone would but on a donkey under their saddle (he is poor he can only afford a donkey.) -Andrew
hmmm yeah i agree with you all. its going back. Part of me likes it because it does remind me of a warm kitchen - i totally agree with that - but the squares remind me of a grandma on an indian blanket a little too much.

I personally don't like the rug. Maybe something with abstract shapes that is mulitcolored would bring some life to the room and could be fun.
Much better.
i agree with you both. much better, but this one is still sort of grandma-esq
richard still likes blue.
I think the red is much better than the blue. Now you've just got to convince Andy to make you a coffee table with a concrete slab for a top.
I like the red! Good choice.
