Eagle Creek with a FRIEND and a brief glimpse of sunshine!

My friend from work went hiking with me and the kid in my pocket today - hooray for friends! We went to Eagle Creek, just east of multnomah falls. It reminds me of china - really tall walls over a ravine (not that I've been to china or anything). The hike is 13 miles, but we just went 4 because baby B is making my hips spread and hurt. I don't like it when things interfere with my hiking abilities.........i suppose baby is worth it (:

It was hard to get a good picture of the falls because you are so high above them. Below is a good picture taken from this website, on the site it's labeled as being "punchbowl falls, eagle creek wilderness, california" even though I know its in oregon cuz i saw them here today.

That. looks. AMAZING!!!! What looks even more amazing is the lack of snow. I'm jealous. It's ok, though- I'll take a bunch of pictures of the beach in May and we'll call it even.
