Hi Richard and Nicole,

It does not look like we’ll be closing today. The lender is requiring the repairs to be completed prior to closing. Your rate lock expires on Tuesday, but the lender said they can fund as long as they have the receipt for the sidewalk by that morning. It sounds like that won’t be a problem. The listing agent and I will make sure the contractor knows how important it is for him to get us that receipt on Monday. Either way, I’ll be sure to keep you posted. I’m just glad that you are able to stay at your place until the end of the month!

In the meantime, can you please sign another extension? I’ve attached the addendum. To be safe, can you cross out the 29^th in both places and write in the 30^th? Please initial next to both revisions then sign and date at the bottom.

I know his loan lock is running out but we will have to extend to Monday (attached doc)

If it makes buyer feel any better I do have about 7 people who want to be called if sale were to fall through (which it will not) so he is getting a good, desirable home (eventually)
