they accepted the offer........

now to the inspection. Which is going to be interesting seeing as how there is a large ceiling bulge in the middle of the front room......

I have a problem with buyer remorse. But we've done our research on this one. I mean this house is pretty nice..........

.......especially when compared with the competition

(this is the other house we were thinking about for the same price.....which would you choose?)

You two really think with your stomachs. And I mean that in the best way possible. ;)

Ooh-I vote the bottom one! :) No, definitely the top of you can...Nicole, you belong in a nice kitchen. You could use the atmosphere to create your culinary masterpieces! How fun to be looking for houses! Best of luck to you-things will work out how they are supposed to. Keep those updates comin!

P.S. Will there be a babies room in either house? Cause I vote for the one that has a babies room. :)

Congratulations again for buying the house!! Your house looks great, and you don't have a basement in Portland! (Basements in DC are such a pain, I can imagine a basement in Portland to be a headache too). The bulge makes me a little nervous...but it does look tons better than the other other one.

Plus, I get told a lot by Dad that Rich is good with his hands, and it's your house to do with what you want. That's awesome! Congratulations again!!

If you find Richard spending too much time with the flowers and not enough time tending the tomatoes, it's a Buhler thing. Grandma Buhler was always in her yard tending her flowers, and my dad is the same way.

Super duper exciting!!! Let us know how the whole thing pans out! Buying a house it good fun!

And who knows, maybe u can be initiated into your knew home within a year by having some crazy guy driving down the sidewalk playing human bowling ball and it ending in your front yard! No, let's hope that never happens to anyone, anywhere again!

Make sure they inspect the rood and see if the roof is leaking. Roofs are expensive to replace, at least $5,000. See if the Shingle are in good shape and when were they replaced last

who is this anonymous person?

I agree with all of you: my stomach has felt funny since we started shopping; the kitchen is mui importante and i made sure there is room for a baby(hold your horses...we're getting there); closing process is super scary (the house is in sherwood); buying a house is fun; we chose a less busy street to avoid that problem; and we are definitely worried about the bulge and will get that checked out on wednesday!
