today i thought about starting up a blog with nutrition facts. after spending annas entire nap time looking for some facts on probiotics i gave up (this was after listening to a webinar on probiotics too). There is TOO MUCH information out there.
Every bit of research has a contradicting bit of research or disclaimer warning that MORE RESEARCH is warranted.
I don't think that those facts help people eat better anyways. It doesn't help you to know that mustard greens are full of vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. Knowing those things does not help you to EAT MORE VEGETABLES. The only way to do that is to get people to taste mustard greens and decide that for themselves that they are okay.
The next step is to teach people how to cook mustard greens and maybe eventually grow them. That is something I enjoy doing - growing, cooking and eating vegetables - and teaching people how to do the same.
just was thinking...........

You should start a blog with mom. Both of you could post about nutrition and recipes. My mom's been talking about it for at least two years and you'd both do great.
I don't like the teaching part...well, maybe I would if I had an eager audience. WIC doesn't often provide that. Thanks for inviting me to your blog, and letting me continue nosing in on you every now and then!
Chloe was so excited she got to talk with you and Anna on skype the other day. She called me because I wan't home to tell me all about it. I couldn't understand what she was saying but not what she was meaning until I could get home and clarify with Andy.
Chloe "HI, I saw baby Anna, and bleeding and then, and so, and because Dad and Remi too. k, BYE."
