  1. I am definitely going to be checking back on this because I hate being away from E to work too. This last week was pretty much awful and made me totally feel your pain.

  2. I don't work away from home enough since it's only 2 hours a day, and some mornings when I teach she and Kev are still asleep when I get home.

  3. I hate it. It is hard to be away from the kiddos. I have been so lucky to have been able to stay home most of the summer. But I am going to be working like a mad woman again here shortly and I am not excited. Just the thought makes me want to cry. But, I call them at least twice a day just to check in and hear their voices. I even talk to Remi. It makes it a little easier. I also plan on doing my freezer meal extravaganza again because then the time that I do have with my family is better spent. And then just giving them lots of love and attention when I am not at work.

  4. I hate having to leave my kiddos to go to work as well but something that gets me through the day is carrying a family picture in a clear pouch on my name tag. It reminds me why I have to work and the days are much easier. I also call home on my lunch breaks. I don't think anything can really cushion the blow!

  5. I'm sorry Nicole. I really can't imagine being gone all day from my little ones. I am teaching piano from home. I have 10 students now. It's really nice to be able to contribute something while still putting my priority to my children. Is there anything you could do from home?
